Range Rovers???
Anybody know much about them? They are very popular across the sea as off-roaders.

RE: Range Rovers???
Like any foriegn import, any parts would be scarce and expensive. Also, depending on the year they had some significant fit and finish problem. The english were big fans of "good enough".
There was one featured on one of the top gear challenges. I'll post it if i find it.

RE: Range Rovers???
As you know I own 2 land rovers, it is true that parts are hard to find, not impossible and can be pricey. The range rovers you linked to are from when they were owned by BMW, who then Sold the company to ford, who sold it to an Indian company a couple years later. Personally I'm waiting to see what the new defender is going to be like in a couple of years.

Those range rovers were built for comfort, but are also very capable off-road, although most never saw anything more than some gravel. I believe that during those years range rovers had a reputation for the electrical to be somewhat sketchy.

Beware if you buy one you might catch the land rover bug, like I have.
