hi im just wondering if anyone is using this as a gps. I saved a map where there wont be cell signal and im wondering if the app just detects thats your in that area thats saved and works there or do you have to select the maps?

This is my current favorite app for tracking my trips but ive not used it beyond cell coverage.

I use my cell phone and use an app called my tracks, then save it as a gps format that you can use on google earth.

You can even use it where there is no cell coverage since it just goes off gps and you dont need a data connection. It tracks elevation and speed also.
