I'd LOVE to do it that way but I don't want to dig too far into my savings to live on. Cry

Thanks!! The engine/trans will be stock for now with a bit of a tune. Once I get it finished and running then I can start letting the bank recoup again and then maybe look at some more power and building the trans to hold it.Big Grin

I have gotten some more work done but haven't taken any pics in a couple of weeks. I will see if I can get some up in the next few days so people don't think I'm just sitting on my ass. Wink

NOPE!!

Got some more done!! I finally finished the subrame which let me get the rear upper control arm mounts done. I decided to go with some adjustment just to see how different settings feel. They are spaced for 5", 6" and 7" seperation at the frame. I still have to gusset the rear of the vertical brackets but that can be done later.

RE: Bobbed Scrambler (with a bend or two)
With that out of the way I started looking at the front upper control arms. I had some brackets in mind that I thought would work but I ended up going through the front leg of the subrame and put a bung in to put the arm where I needed it. I made the outer tab and will gusset the whole mount once I get some more time.

RE: Bobbed Scrambler (with a bend or two)
I had to trim down my Artec upper tower to clear where the rad will sit. I had to make the drivers side so I tried to get it to match as best I could.
I can't believe it's actually looking like there might be an end to this build yet! From here I will bolt in the t-case and start some work on the firewall, trans tunnel and flooring. Maybe even get seats mounted before the end of the year!

Hope it's still in progress or complete. Keep up the good work Shane. More pictures when you have time.

Marslim, I encourage you to open your own thread with pictures. We love watching builds come together!

RE: Bobbed Scrambler (with a bend or two)
Sorry guys, no real updates. Sad Earlier this year I started on the floor, trans tunnel and firewall but that's about it. Got distracted in June by starting an enclosed offroad trailer to pull behind the Jeep and have yet to get that completely finished. I also have a new job that I have to work some Saturdays and that is REALLY putting a damper on my personal project time. Hoping to get back on the buggy in the spring.
