Scrapping my rig and building another
My rig has been giving me more grief then good over the last couple years. When I lost my engine at ace this year it was the last straw so this week I've been pulling it apart for scrap.
So far I've pulled the transmission, transfer case, front and rear drive shafts, front left and right axle shafts, front brakes, front shocks, starter, alternator, clutch, flywheel, master and slave cylinders, clutch and brake pedals, shifter, mirrors, body armour, air intake, and already pulled was winch, battery, front and rear bumpers, tire carrier, rims, and tires.
I bought another used tj but this thime one that hasn't been off road. I've been slowly transferring the build parts over and keeping the rest as spares. The hardest part will be transferring the manual into the automatic rig. Wish me luck!

RE: Scrapping my rig and building another
Rig has been on hold the last few weeks but back at it now. Yesterday I pulled the exhausted driveline out of the daisy duke. Ujoints were shot, transmission was dead in the water, torque converter was squeaky, and transfer case wouldn't shift into 4 low.

Today I'm installing a third pedal assembly, master/slave, shift boot, and flywheel into the lady. I still have a couple cables in unsure about, and I'm wondering if I need to swap computers. Any input is appreciated.
